Having been a self-taught developer has been quite the journey. I can tell you from experience that choosing this path is not for everyone, as it requires a lot of sacrifices, having to study & learn more than others who have gotten a formal education, it is much more stressful overall, due to the lack of peer support and will leave you with questions such as:
